Howdy! Typography and letterforms have been integral to my career in editorial design and brand identity. My interest in type design grew as I crafted custom logotypes and magazine titles, sparking a deeper fascination with the art. I began my formal training at Type@Cooper with an introductory workshop and continued into their extended program, earning a post-graduate certificate in type design. With 25 years of experience living and working in Japan, I bring a unique perspective to my designs, seamlessly blending Eastern and Western influences. I approach typeface creation with the keen eye of a graphic designer, envisioning how each font can elevate and amplify designs with impact and purpose.
